ReaxionsI was going to use it for a block-off plate on an engine, but it ended up using 8mm aluminum, instead, as it's easier to cut, shape, and drill, but this is quality SS, and I'll definitely use it on another project. -

One of the most frequent and popular stainless products may be the 304/304L Stainless. Kloeckner Metals is proud to carry it across its 40+ divisions nationwide. While 304L stainless metallic plates have excellent corrosion quantity of resistance, 316/316L plates are far more immune to corrosion when compared with DURE sheets. The ASTM A240 metal steel plate is a standard 18- 8 material, which contains 18% chromium and 8% nickel. 304 stainless is probably one of the most adaptable steels on earth . It includes excellent welding and forming characteristics.
